Pricing model
Why per yard and not per vehicle?
Because that is where the value lives. A yard with 50 buses and a yard with 500 buses has the same retiring foreman and the same stack of manuals. Charging per vehicle would punish the big fleets and undercharge the small ones. Per yard maps to how districts actually budget.
Comparison
How is this different from Fleetio or RTA?
Different lane. Your FMS handles work orders, fuel, telematics, scheduling. Yardwise sits next to it and handles the questions the FMS can't: torque values, fault codes, the override your senior runs for the mountain route. Most customers run both.
Limits
Are there query limits I should worry about?
No published cap. We run fair-use, which means a working yard never hits a wall. We only call you if usage looks scripted, which has not happened yet. The cost of an honest tech asking honest questions is built into your plan.
Contracts
Monthly or annual?
Starter is monthly, no commitment. Professional is monthly or annual, with 15% off for annual. Enterprise is annual only. Annual deals get paid invoicing on PO terms for districts and municipalities that need it.
Setup
Why is there an onboarding fee?
Because real onboarding is real work. We ingest your documents, run capture sessions with your senior people, and train your crew. It is a project, not an account toggle. Self-serve onboarding is free on Starter.
Procurement
Can you work with district procurement?
Yes. Enterprise plans come with an MSA, security questionnaire responses, and references from comparable yards. Annual billing on PO terms. If it has to go through your board, we have done that before.
Trial
Can we try it before we buy it?
Better. Bring two manuals and one question your best mechanic always gets asked. We'll show you the cited answer in under a minute. Then we set up a real workspace with your manuals for two weeks, free.
Data
Is our data isolated from other fleets?
Yes. Tenant isolation at the partition-key level. Your manuals, your senior's notes, your conversation history. None of it is visible to any other fleet, and none of it trains a shared model. Read more on the security page.
